INSPECTION AND MAINTENANCE:
Inspect the extinguisher at least once a month. If the extinguisher is exposed to the weather or vandalism, more frequent inspection is needed.
Check the pressure gauge every half a year. Make sure that the pointer on pressure indicator is in green section. If pointer is in red or white section, the extinguisher is not ready for use. The locking pin must be intact and firm in place.

Make sure that the connectors are fixed. The hose and nozzle do not fall off and are clean and not jammed. Keep your extinguishers in dry and ventilated environment away from damp, strong radiation or obstruction. Keep the extinguisher clean. Check it for dents, scratches, corrosion or any other damage. Extinguisher to be installed, inspected, maintained, and tested in accordance with the standard of the National Fire Extinguishers NFPA No.10.Meets D.O.T. requirements.
